Plastitube launched the Kessel rainwater recovery system at the end of 1999. In a country where it often rains, it is worthwhile recovering the rainwater captured by roof gutters. The system consists of PE storage tanks, rainwater filters and a pump installation.
The Aquaclean rainwater filter removes particles up to 200nm from the water from the roof gutters. The pre-filtered water is subsequently led to a storage tank from where the Aquabull pump unit automatically pumps it to the domestic rinsing water circuit (lavatory, washing machine etc). The system is also useable for industrial cleaning, for example a carwash. A fully automatic switchover to mains water is provided when the storage tank is emptied. The rainwater filters were developed for the processing of rainwater from a roof area of 2000m². This installation can be installed both above or below ground. It is maintenance-friendly and does not suffer from blockages.
