This firm supply baling presses for the compression of high volume waste like paper, cardboard, plastic and films. The presses can be installed anywhere. The latest model, the Dixi baling press model 5S-K, has been available since autumn of 1999. It is a single chamber baling press with frontal filling door. It is expandable on a modular basis. The basic model is delivered with a single chamber but can be expanded without difficulty to a multi-chamber press. This expansion capability is an important innovation which lowers the recycling threshold. It is now possible for a business to make a start on recycling with the 5S-K as a single chamber baling press. If the waste heap grows or more products need to be kept separate, the desired number of additional presses can be added. In this way the various types of waste can be separated at source and pressed into compact bales in a rational and economical way. The bales have a high density and can therefore be transported in a more economical and environmentally friendly manner. The bales are also easier to recycle or recover.
